Join Fullam Photos Experiences for a personalized 3-hour photography adventure designed to help you capture the beauty of Colorado’s incredible landscapes and wildlife. These small-group tours provide a more personal experience, allowing plenty of time for photography, exploring, and learning along the way.
Tours are available at different times throughout the day, including sunrise, morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, depending on the season and your photography goals. Each time of day offers its own unique light, scenery, and opportunities.
Whether you're an experienced photographer looking to refine your skills or a beginner wanting to learn how to get more from your camera, I'll provide helpful tips on composition, camera settings, lighting, and techniques while we explore.

Meet & Get Ready — 15 Minutes
Meet your guide, review the plan for the tour, discuss your photography goals, and make sure your camera and settings are ready.
Explore & Photograph — 2.5 Hours
Travel to a variety of scenic locations selected for the time of day, lighting, weather, and seasonal conditions. We’ll make several stops for landscape, nature, and wildlife photography while providing hands-on guidance with camera settings, composition, and techniques.
Wrap-Up — 15 Minutes
Finish at our final photography location with time for questions, photography tips, and recommendations for continuing to explore and photograph the area on your own.
Each tour is flexible. Locations and timing may change based on weather, wildlife activity, lighting, and current conditions to provide the best possible photography experience.
Cost and What’s Included
The cost of your 3-hour photography tour includes three hours of guided photography instruction and transportation during the tour.
Tours are kept to small groups to provide a more personalized experience and plenty of opportunities for individual instruction.
Guidance may include camera settings, composition, exposure, landscape techniques, and wildlife photography tips based on your experience level and interests.
Tour locations and stops may vary depending on the time of day, weather, lighting, wildlife activity, and current conditions.
You are responsible for transportation to and from the designated meeting location, as well as any lodging, meals, or other travel expenses.
Any required park entrance fees or passes are not included unless otherwise stated when booking.
Gear Recommendations

Camera body (DSLR or mirrorless) — weather-sealed is best.
Wide-angle lens (e.g., 16–35 mm) for sweeping mountain landscapes and sunrise/sunset compositions.
Standard zoom (24–70 mm) for general landscapes and flexible framing.
Telephoto zoom (100–400 mm or 200–600 mm) — ideal for photographing elk rut, birds, and other wildlife from a safe distanceSturdy tripod — essential for low-light (golden hour, sunrise/sunset), HDR, panoramas, and long exposures.
Remote shutter release / cable release — reduces camera shake for sharp images.
Circular polarizer — boosts fall color saturation, reduces glare on water.
Neutral density (ND) filters — for long exposures with moving water, clouds, or creative effects.
Extra batteries (cold weather drains power fast).
Plenty of memory cards.
Lens cleaning kit (for moisture, dust, fog).
Camera rain cover or waterproof protection.
Binoculars — not essential but helpful spotting wildlife before photographing.
Backpack or camera pack comfortable for hikes up to a few miles.
Laptop + card reader for quick image review and editing during our editing sessions at the hotel
Clothing & Weather Gear
Fall in the Rockies can be unpredictable — warm days, cold nights, wind, and occasional early snow at higher elevations.

Warm hat + gloves (temperatures can drop significantly).
Sturdy hiking boots (waterproof recommended).

Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner are not provided.
Bottles of water will be provided while In the field. Rocky Mountain National Park is at a high elevation. It is important to stay hydrated your entire visit. Drink water often, even when you do not think you are thirsty.
Basic snacks will be provided(bags of chips, pretzels, granola bars, etc..)
