I’m Watching You

Hawks are truly wise birds that soar gracefully through the skies, showcasing their remarkable wingspan, incredible eyesight, and an undeniable aura of confidence and power. The majestic hawk embodies clear vision and deep understanding, possessing a keen sense of direction and purpose in its flight. It also symbolizes indispensable qualities such as intelligence, adaptability, courage, fierceness, and unwavering loyalty. Hawks are instinctual creatures, acting decisively based on their needs and instincts. They’re unapologetically themselves, doing what they know to be right and true for their existence. In many ways, hawks serve as great reminders for us to trust ourselves and our own instincts. I vividly remember the day I captured this incredible photograph. I got up early that morning, drove enthusiastically to the mountains, fueled by the hope of encountering magnificent wildlife. Unfortunately, it seemed that all of the animals in nature were hiding from me, leaving me feeling a bit disheartened. After spending some time in the mountains, I decided to head to a few of my favorite spots—those locations where I always see birds soaring through the air. Once again, disappointment set in as I found myself without a single sighting. Just as I was about to head home, something caught my eye as I pulled into my development. There, perched majestically high on a light post, was a magnificent hawk. With my camera already out and ready, I eagerly got out of the car and started firing away, capturing the moment. The hawk simply stared back at me, its piercing gaze holding my attention captive. I remember looking up into its eyes, utterly captivated by the display of confidence and strength it exuded. My interaction with this remarkable creature only lasted about 15 minutes before the hawk gracefully took flight, but that brief encounter transformed a disappointing day of photography into an incredibly memorable one.
